Live Link Between ERDAS IMAGINE and GeoMedia

One of the exciting new features introduced at Hexagon 2011 was the new "Live Link," which enables simultaneous work within ERDAS IMAGINE and GeoMedia to collect and update new information about the changing earth. With Live Link, ERDAS IMAGINE provides tools enabling users to drive to a location and match Geomedia’s view to that of ERDAS IMAGINE (and vice-versa). By linking the views, users can pan, zoom, rotate or auto roam in ERDAS IMAGINE, and Geomedia will follow suit. This technology is a core component of the new data revision workflows, as it enables users to leverage ERDAS IMAGINE’s sophisticated change detection algorithms along with GeoMedia’s vector handling abilities to update and reflect vector and attribute changes.
